During this teacher training, whether you are a beginner or an advanced practioner, you will be able to develop and share a new vision of yoga with the world.
90% of The certificate is bassed on the lesson but also on the behaviour and the couduct of the student.
The certification completion will be issued by Sanatana Yog Sandesh, a Registered yoga school with Yoga Alliance. Student who complete their training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (E-RYT)

One receives knowledge of Hatha and Hatha Vinyasa. Yoga course that includes the theoretical and practical aspects of Asanas, Pranayama, Philosophy, Mudras & Bandhas, Kriyas, Adjustments, Alignments, Anatomy and Meditation. Our course is not just a practice, it is a preparation to make you a yoga teacher with complete & vast knowledge and confidence!
Every Wednesday and Saturday evening : kirtan, Chanting, video shows, personal time etc. (This is an optional session but participation of everyone brings a distinct harmony between all of us) 9:00pm light out. Sunday free time.
Asana is a Sanskrit word which means, "Yogic Postures or Movements". Traditionally defined, asana means "Comfortable Seat" : it is a seated posture used in Meditation.
Pranayama, also known as breathing exercise is the foundation of yoga practice. "Prana" means breath and "Ayama" means to control; on combining, "Pranayama" means "to control or hold the breath".
Chanting the powerful, spiritual mantras helps in the union of body with the mind. It will surely give you a deeply philosophical experience.
Shatkarmas is basically the six purification techniques that aim to clean the body, free from all diseases. More than this, it improves the flow of prana into the organs of the body.
Yoga Mudras means "gesture" that facilitates the flow of energy in the body of an individual
Treating under the heading of Yoga Mudras, Bandhas is body locks in yoga.
Anatomy deals with the bodily structure of an individual and how to protect from injuries. In our yoga teacher training classes, we conduct the theoretical class of Anatomy too.
Philosophy here means Yoga Philosophy that includes the systemic study of body, mind & spirit of an individual.
Our yoga teacher training courses focuses on body alignments, which means doing poses or asanas in an effortless state of body, according to the body composition of individual. Alignments are very significant to understand any style of yoga practice.
Observing your deep breaths which help to still your mind for a few minutes, and keep it is away from all unnecessary thoughts; this is meditation. There are mainly 3 types of meditation style we focus on, for exemple : Traditional Himalayan Meditation, Healing Meditation,and Sound Meditation.
Teaching Methodology in our yoga courses specifically aims at providing nurturing environment for our students, on making lesson plans, setting class environment and conducting classes regarding various yogic practices on gaining enough confidence and awareness for building good student-teacher relationship.
The daily schedule starts at 6 AM. All students have to wake up at this time except in some contingencies. The above daily programmes are tentative and subject to change according to need. All classes are held for 6 days in a week.
During the 26 days of the Teacher Yoga Training course, we offer a 30 hours Ayurvedic massage (Abhyanga) course (this course is not mandatory).
This will reinforce your Indian culture knowledge and will give you an extra skill as you will receive a Ayurvedic massage school certificate at the end of the training.
Abhyanga massage is an oil massage finding its roots in South India.
Abhyanga is deeply linked to India traditionnal medecine and also to a more global wellness approach to everydays life (food, plant based therapy, essential oil therapy, vedic philosophy).
Indians practice Abhyanga as well as a daily routine, as a health therapy (" Ayu " = life and " Veda "= science, knowledge.
Ayurvedic massage is based on Doshas balance and harmonisation : vata (air), pitta (fire) and kapha (water).
Practitioners adjust the massage accordingly to each person and choose the right therapeutical supplements (oil, food) in order to balance body vital energies.
VATA (air) : slow, constant, enfold massage, using warm oil.
PITTA (fire) : deep, tonic and invigorating massage, using oil at room temperature.
KAPHA ( water) : stimulating, dynamic, invigorating massage, using little oil.
Within the Satya Yoga Academy we focus on the wellness and relaxation part of the massage, not the therapeutical part (as Vedic course takes a 4 to 5 years training.
Ayurvedic massage is traddionaly practised on the floor or on a table. It is a very enfold and relaxing full body massage.
It is one of the most global body massage and the face-skull part of it is very important as it can take up to 40mn.
The massage includes gentle slide, wringing, Kneading, shaking and smooth balanced.
To make a long explanation short : it is a great relaxaging and let go moment !
